David Mensah 2010Supporting Mario at the O2 or jamming with UK Soul Legend Omar at the Jazz Cafe. Opening for double platinum RnB Superstars Next at the Pigalle London or headlining a Diesel catwalk show. From the USA to Monaco, Geneva,France, Norway and Germany, David Mensah has travelled the world to perform for fans of his debut album “Music is the Food of Love” taking the soul charts by storm, attracting many accolades and much critical acclaim.

Mensah’s collaborations with Hip-Hop artists such as Jay Z’s right hand man Roc-a-Fella Record’s Memphis Bleek for projects with Jim Jones, Raekwon (Wu Tang), Havoc (Mobb Deep), KRS1 and Black Rob make it hard to categorise him as just another soul RnB singer. Whether he is recording an RnB joint with Eric Coptic Matlock who produced “I Need a Girl” for Diddy and Usher or composing a classic with world renowned Wayne Brown known for his work with Earth Wind and Fire, George Michael and Billy Ocean. Always passionate about expanding his music horizons Mensah has recently teamed up with Daniel James (AKA) Future Disciple to record his latest offering. Dance track “Straddle Me”. With the video for “Straddle Me” playing on Virgin TV, Starz TV, Vox Africa in the UK, Africa and France. As well as in all the main gyms, bars and clubs across the UK and Germany. Mensah has signed a publishing deal and attracted attention from some of the world’s best dance music producers. He is currently working on some exciting collaborations in the studio.
